Conflicts
Hard work has never killed anybody, but why take the risk ? ;)

On the 18th of October we woke up and realized that the day has come! Today were going to Klagenfurt! Early in the morning  we met at the railway station. We were really excited about whats it going to be like and we were just hoping to get on well with the Austrian students. Of course later it turned out that they are so funny and talkative that we became really great friends. But the point is that after a  7-hour long journey we arrived at Klagenfurt. We got off the train and we were amazed by the amazing city, its just not like here at home :) A bit different conditions. So after arriving we went straight to the Minimundus to meet our new" classmates for the next 3 days. We were split into groups to get to know each other better and to use our english. After that we went to our host families :) I was staying at Julia and her family. They were really an amazing family, they were treating us just like we have had known each other for ages.So every afternoon we had a great time together.(Dvd,Singstar,Wii...) The following days we had special lessons with a nice teacher. The point of the excersises we did was really to communicate with each other. Then we had to do some tasks in connection with conflicts and I think all of us did well :) In the afternoons we went on a trip all around Klagenfurt to see all the most interesting sights. The most stunning things for us Hungarian students were the amazing mountains which were everyvere surrounding the city :) And I almost forgot, of course our new friends took us to the shopping center of Klagenfurt, City Arkaden :) It was a great chance to buy present for our families and ourselves of course. All in all it was a great, cheerful, and useful week - I have to say :)
On thursday when we had to go home it was really hard to say goodbye, even if some of the austrian
students came with us to the station. So now its the perceft time to say that I miss you and I look forward to seeing you next ;) See you in Hungary!  ( Brigitta Hajdu )

Our tour in Klagenfurt was very exciting. First I was afraid what kind of host family will I get, but on the first day I met them and realized, I don’t have to be scared. When we arrived we went to Minimundus and met to the others, the austrians and romanians. On the other days we had different programmes in the school and in the city too. We had spoken about conflicts and that how can we solve them. We had some free time. In this period of the day we went to drink a tea or hot chocolate, or we went to the shopping centre. On the last day the austrians organized a farewell evening for us. It was very good and exciting. After it with some of the austrian boys we went to have a private farewell evening. We loughed a lot, and I think we get to know each other well. I’m very happy about I got to know these austian and romanian people and I’m very excited about their coming to Budapest.   18th of October: In the morning we met at the railway station. I think everyone was tired. First, we went to Wien and there we took an other train to Klagenfurt. This journey took 7 hours, but we had a very good time during that. After we arrived to klagenfurt we went to Minimundus. There, we met the austrians and the romanians. We did some quiz about the buildings of the Minimundus. It was very interesting. After this we went to our host families. I was staying at Julia and her family with Brigi and Ana Maria. Julia and her family were so friendly and we had a very good time there. At the nights we did several things for example watching DVDs, playing Wii and Singstar.19th of October: We went to the school and we listened to a presentation about Klagenfurt. After that we took part in exercices which helped us to introduce ourselves. We had lunch and took part in other exercices about conflicts. After that we went to the city. It was very beautiful. We went to shopping, too.20th of October: This day we went to a lot of places. It was a bit tiring, but i liked it. :)21th of October: In the morning we went to some kind of TV and Radio building. If I remember well we went to shopping this day, too. And after these we had to go to the railway station to catch the train which take us home. I really had a good time in Klagenfurt. I met a lot of kind people there. Im really waiting for January when well see each other again! ^^ Lili Késmárki

I think I almost fell in love with Klagenfurt! It was really great! The town, the atmosphere, and also the Austrian people. We went there just for 4 days, but I wish it had been more.
On the first day we went to a museum called Mini-mundus. Here you can find a lot of famous building, from every part of the world, but smaller than the real ones. On the other days we had really good programs such as the castle hochosterwitz, which name i really can say out loud. :)
On the rest of those wonderful days ,we spent in Klagenfurt, we did work shops about conflicts and visited all the famous places in the town.
My host family was GREAT! They made delicious food and they were really kind. We took their dog for a big walk twice, which i really enjoyed, because the family live abut 30km far from Klagenfurt near several small lakes, and the view was wonderful!
The only negative thing was that we had to travel a lot by train to get there. But the group was good, so we could spend our time quiet good. /Greta Pasztory/

  • I CANT GO TO SCHOOL
    2010-09-12 19:48:05

I can´t go to school because I am sick.
If I walk out my house I’ll get hit by a brick.

I can’t go to school because I’m afraid. On my way there I might get run over by a huge parade.

I can’t go to school because I have a funereal to attend. School uniforms just aren’t the new trend.

I can’t go to school because I woke up late. I broke my thumb while learning how to skate.

I can’t go to school because I feel a little blue. My brother stuck my hands together with supper glue.

I can’t go to school because school is boring. I wonder what excuses I’ll have tomorrow morning!
